I had a vision, a dream, and it became everything – and more – than I could’ve ever imagined. I met the most incredible families through my little play school that I opened 10 years ago. I was given endless support by both my phenomenal staff and the wonderful parents who came across my path.
I had never considered myself an entrepreneur and one day the opportunity arose to start my own little play school. The universe was telling me something. After a month of deliberating, I took the plunge – stepped out of the corporate world and became my own boss. It was terrifying, but truly exhilarating at the same time. I was privileged enough to have my then 18 month old son in the first intake of littlies. Moms have often said to me: “Oh what I would give to be a fly on the wall one day to see what my little girl does at playschool.” I didn’t have to wish that, I got to do that for both my children – what an absolute honour.
I’ve always been a believer in the universe and if you want something badly enough, by putting it out there (and of course putting in the effort) it will happen.
